Namor The Sub Mariner

A while ago someone commented on my Wolverine movie concept that Luke Evans would make a better Namor than Wolverine. I noticed a few other people mentioning him in the role in the following weeks so I thought I'd redesign Namor using Mr Evans. Probably going to have to find someone else for my Wolvie concept now! Namor is such a super fun character to design and it would be awesome to see him end up in the Marvel Cinematic universe. I wanted to keep him very different from a certain Mr Curry we recently saw in JLA and to retain some of the design from the original comic book Sub Mariner. I tried a couple of different ideas for his feet wings, as I find it hard to imagine them working in a real life movie, so tried making them into fins to help him swim instead. I also tried making the wings a decorative part of his costume. Lots of gold in his costume to match the original and gold is non corrosive.
